Day 01: Hanoi Arrival
Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to warmly greet and escort you to the hotel. As you’ve settled in the hotel, relax at leisure. The rest of the day will be yours. If you have any problem, feel free to contact your guide. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Discover Hanoi
Today we will venture out to explore Hanoi. First, we will drive to the Ho Chi Minh complex, you will admire the Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Then, head to the Temple of Literature, which originally built as a temple to Confucius.
The afternoon journey following your lunch takes you to the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Continue your steps to the infamous Hoa Lo Prison Museum, which is known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and was where former US presidential candidate John McCain was incarcerated for over 5 years.
Later, in the afternoon, get into a 1-hour cyclo tour exploring Hanoi Old Quarter. We will be free for wandering around and shopping in the old quarter. There are many colorful small streets for you to discover which ranges from markets through to designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries. After dinner, you will have a chance to enjoy a traditional performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03: Halong Bay Cruise
Following your breakfast, we set off to Halong Bay – the ‘Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam’. Upon arrival, we will board our boat, set sail, and cruise amongst thousands of extraordinary limestone Karst formations. As soon as you arrive at Halong Bay, you will know why it was voted one of ‘The New 7 Wonders of Nature’ in 2011.
On arrival at Hon Gai International Harbor, our tour guide will help you to check on the cruise. Then, it’s time for you to enjoy a set menu lunch served in the outdoor dining room (depending on the weather) while cruising into magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay. Admire the breathtaking limestone karsts on the way.
In the mid-afternoon, we cruise to Vung Dang – Cong Dam for fascinating activities such as swimming, kayaking or just relaxing on a white sandy beach. Afterward, return to your cruise to refresh yourself in Mineral Seawater Pool, Fitness Room or the Spa and Massage Services before dinner. Overnight on board.
Day 04: Hue Arrival
Wake up early in the morning to join a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun-deck, immerse in the morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee, and enjoy breakfast in the fresh air. Continue your cruise to the Cong Do area to explore the hidden gem Thien Canh Son Cave. Check out your cabin at 10 AM and enjoy a buffet while cruising towards the harbor where our car is waiting and take us back to Hanoi and then, we transfer to the airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and the rest of the day will be yours. Overnight in Hue.
Day 05: Discover Hue
Pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM, we will board a boat on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded by ancient tombs of emperors in the past. A visit to the most beautiful tombs will be on today's itinerary. The elegant Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Perfume River and the surrounding area. From here, we rejoin our van and go visit King Khai Dinh’s Tomb and King Tu Duc’s Tomb.
In the afternoon, your tour continues to visit the Hue Imperial Citadel during the Nguyen Dynasty dated back to 1802 and 1945. After discovering the ruins of this wonderful monument, we will then depart to the Hue Royal Fine Art Museum, once home to the former Dien Long An Royal Palace. Finish your tour today with a stroll through the local Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people. Overnight in Hue.
Day 06: Hoi An Arrival
After breakfast, we will take a drive to Hoi An along scenic highway 1A. Along the way, we will stop to contemplate the stunning views of Lang Co Beach and get a panoramic view of Danang.
On arrival in Danang, we take a brief visit to Cham Museum – the houses of the most complete collection of Cham Artifacts from all over the world; China Beach – where the American named and used as their relaxing place; and the Marble Mountain – the home to five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire, and earth). As we arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, you will be free to do whatever takes your fancy for the rest of the day. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 07: Farming & Fishing Tour in Hoi An
This morning, we have an early start as we head off to our Farming & Fishing Life Eco Tour. Take the first step from Tra Que Village, we will get a personal insight into the local farming communities. We set about joining the farmers in preparing their land for sowing, helping to fertilize the garden using seaweed from the local river and watering it in using huge tin cans strapped to our backs. Following this, we will begin our leisurely cycling tour through the countryside witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand.
Late morning, we will board a Hoi An Eco-tour boat to cruise along the river. You will have a chance to meet and observe local fishermen working their craft, before enjoying a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. Afterward, we transfer to a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat for a quick race and ride down a coconut palm-lined waterway. Lunch today is on board our boat, which is prepared using vegetables picked earlier at Tra Que Village. We then have some free time to wander around Hoi An town center before heading back to the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 08: Ho Chi Minh Arrival
Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting to welcome you and then, escort you to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. As you’ve checked into the hotel, the rest of the day will be yours. If you have any problem, feel free to contact your guide. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 09: Discover Ho Chi Minh City
Today, after breakfast, we start our journey exploring Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). We head to the Reunification Palace, a palace of old President in Southern Vietnam during the American war; the War Remnants Museum where displays the futility of war in the past; the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, the two sites that we can’t miss when traveling to Ho Chi Minh City.
Finally, we drive to the center to go shopping at the famous Ben Thanh market, this bustling and the well-organized market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location and various colorful products. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnel – Cricket Farm
This morning, your guide will pick you up to the Saigon’s pier. We board on a speedboat and just within 15’, the crowded city will change to the lush garden. We will enjoy a light breakfast of sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca Phe sua da) is served, as your guide explains rural traditions and aspects of riverbank life. We then arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels and get an insight into the labyrinth of underground rooms used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
Later, enjoy lunch and then, discover the surrounding beauty. Visit a cricket farm, an organic herb farm and a local house that makes rice paper by hand in the traditional method. Back to your hotel and relax at leisure.
Day 11: Mekong Delta
This morning, we transfer to Cai Be where we will enjoy our boat trip around Cai Be colorful floating market with various local barges full of fruits and vegetables.
Next, we opt to stop at local workshops to visit rice paste, coconut candy, pop-rice, pop-corn production or visit the handicraft village where the local people make special products of rice-net for spring rolls, fish sauce, soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage proof….Afterward, we stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
Take a short break before starting your afternoon journey as the rowing boat will take us deeper into the countryside along the canals. It’s easy for you to feel the peaceful atmosphere while passing traditional houses made of wood, palm tree leaves. You will observe the farmers catching fishes or picking up fruits by the ancestral way in Mekong Delta.
Arriving at home-stay, we check-in and enjoy the last but not least activity of the day is biking. It will be an amazing experience to bike on village paths and witness the local farms, houses, real-life and interesting activities in the countryside. For the rest of the day, we join a cooking class to learn how to cook some Vietnamese dishes with the owners, then enjoy dinner and have a cup of tea or rice wine when talking together. Day 12: Back to Ho Chi Minh – Free Day

Day 14: Discover Siem Reap 1st
Breakfast at the hotel, we will start your Cambodia tour by visiting Angkor Thom including Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
After lunch, we head to the most famous temple in the world – Angkor Wat – an architectural masterpiece built in the 12th century. Stretching approximately 210 hectares, Angkor Wat has been considered as one of 100 worthwhile destinations in the world. End the day with the climb to the summit of Bakheng Mountain Temple to view a spectacular sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 15: Discover Siem Reap 2nd
Breakfast at hotel, today we have a half-day tour to visit Banteay Srei Temple which is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. Built-in pink sandstone, the walls are covered in exquisitely preserved carvings of unique delicacy. This temple is often a favorite destination for travelers not only by its small sizes and fairy-like atmosphere but also by its extraordinary examples of Khmer sculpture.
In the afternoon, we visit the great annual flood of Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat to the village of Kompong Phluk on stilts. Indulging in this wonderful ecosystem by canoeing as well as listening to the calls of the macaque monkeys and witnessing the forest beneath the lake’s surface. We will also find the Buddhist temple standing on the island with some beautiful Buddhist life paintings on the ceiling.
For tonight's menu, the Phare Cambodia Circus is a great choice to take you back with a troupe of young Cambodians. You will be mesmerized by an impressive and exhilarating blend of traditional and modern theater, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed and performed to show you the Cambodian life. Day 16: Bangkok Arrival
Upon arrival, welcomed and escorted to the hotel by your friendly and experienced guide. Check into the hotel and the rest of the day will be yours. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 17: Discover Bangkok – Canal Boat Ride
Today we start out at Wat Traimit - home to the world’s largest solid golden Buddha - before crossing the old city streets to see an even larger Buddha reclining at Wat Pho. Hop across the road to the impressive Grand Palace which is another sprawling temple complex boasting manifold finest Thai-Buddhist architecture in the entire country. Discover the vast grounds and numerous dazzling buildings consisting of the highly-revered Wat Phra Kaew home to the prized Emerald Buddha statue dating back to the 14th Century.
After lunch, spend the better part of the afternoon on the water meandering through the quaint canals and taking in the quieter side of life from the seat of a traditional ‘long tail’ boat. A tour of Bangkok’s Thonburi side isn’t complete without the spectacular Wat Arun - take time to explore the iconic temple towering 79 meters over the Chao Phraya River.
Day 18: Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Phitsanulok
Explore the grandeur of Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Listen to the tales of palaces filled with gold, lavish ceremonies and decorative monasteries that were the envy of old-world Europe. Leisurely walk the grounds of the Summer Palace then head northwards to Phitsanulok for an overnight stay.
Day 19: Phitsanulok – Sukhothai – Phrae
Leave behind the poetic town of Phitsanulok, visiting the nearby temple ruins at Sukhothai. Discover the old-aged Thai capital, venturing inside the main historical park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - for a closer look around. Here find almost 200 separate sites, all left in ruins after the city was abandoned some seven hundred years ago. The collection of chedis, shrines and Buddha statues provide one of the north’s most photogenic spots.
Later, head to the nearby Wat Chom Sawan which is a Burmese-style temple housing an eclectic array of statues made from marble, lacquer, and ivory. Also, visit Wat Phrathat Chor Hae in the quaint Phrae province that features a towering stupa shining bright gold in the sunlight. We finally travel to the Phrae township in time for dinner.
Day 20: Phrae – Chiang Rai
The first stop on this morning's itinerary is Baan Pratabjai, a house consisting of hundreds of intricately carved teak pillars following the prominent ‘Lanna’ style of the region. Take a quick look around before heading to Ban Tung Hong Village to witness local fabric making.
Back on the road, pass by Phae Muang Phi – an impressive network of towering sandstone formations with sheer cliff edges dropping into deep, narrow valleys. Stretch your legs here and then continue along the road towards Chiang Rai. Check into the hotel and relax at leisure.
Day 21: Chiang Rai – Akha Village – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai
We get into an 8-hour journey leading to small towns and diverse border cities in Thailand’s northernmost region. We start from Chiang Rai and head to nearby Akha & Yao hill tribe villages. The Yao people are famous for their peaceful and aristocratic demeanor and the Akha people for their exotic and beautiful costumes, the Yao people for their peaceful and aristocratic demeanor; both tribes are friendly, and they eager to show people their day-to-day life. Continue to Chiang Saen, a small town on the Mekong River.
Known for its numerous old-aged temples and ruins, this historical city is situated at the convergence of Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and Laos and overflowing with both stunning vista as well as amazing architecture. Finally, visit Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand and an essential trading city on the border of Thailand and Myanmar. Spend some time discovering the local market giving glorious insight into the trading heritage of Mae Sai. Arrive in Chiang Mai in the evening; relax at leisure in the city hotel or discover the northern capital at own leisure.
Day 22: Discover Chiang Mai

In the afternoon, embark on an eco-friendly and responsible journey through this charming city. Onboard a traditional rickshaw, which has been used in Thailand for over 60 years, travels from Tha Pae Gate through the city’s colorful narrow streets. Visit the unique Wat Puak Tam artisan village and peruse the traditional arts and crafts, including beautiful brass and colorful bamboo parasols. Continue the journey and stop at the Chiang Mai Women Correctional Institution for some local Thai snacks. The institution comprises a restaurant and massage parlor, giving inmates the opportunity to learn meaningful skills during their time in prison. After this unique experience, head to Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and home to several important Buddha images, before exploring the bustling Warorot Market. Pick up some of the local fruit and get a taste of sweet and tart-tasting mangosteen or try rambutan, a lychee-like fruit covered in the red, hairy peel.
