Full Itinerary
Day 01: Phnom Penh Arrival
Upon arrival, our representative will warmly welcome and escort you to the hotel. Once you’ve settled in the hotel, relax at leisure in Phnom Penh.
Later, we will make our way to visit the Royal Palace, the most extraordinary landmarks in Phnom Penh situated near the riverfront. This complex was once built by King Norodom in 1866. Stroll around the sites and admire the striking Silver Pagoda.
Then, we head back to the hotel and the rest of the day will be yours.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Phnom Penh
Wake up early and travel to the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre (PTWRC). Supported by the Australian NGO ‘Free the Bears’, the sanctuary cares for a variety of animals, including 120 sun and moon bears, rescued from illegal wildlife trade. Enjoy a unique behind-the-scenes tour and learn more about the center’s conservation work. Listen to the individual stories of the animals that have been saved from the hands of illegal poachers and traffickers and help feed the adorable bears.

Day 03: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
Escape the hectic life of the city with a morning trip to Koh Dach. Only a few kilometers from the capital, this sleepy village on the banks of the Mekong River feels like a world away. Immerse in the peaceful atmosphere whilst strolling around the island, famous for its silk weaving tradition. Visit the silk center and village to observe local artisans at work and learn about the complex processes involved in the fabric’s production. Pick up a beautiful scarf or shirt before leaving.

Day 04: Discover Siem Reap – 1st Day
Wake up early and spend an adventurous day exploring the majestic temples of Angkor. For an even more spectacular experience, board a tethered balloon and marvel at the spectacular scenery, dotted with ancient temples, from above. Back on solid ground, take a closer look at the mighty Angkor Wat. Discover the decorative carvings along the ancient walls and the Hall of Echoes before continuing to the magical Ta Phrom. Famous thanks to its appearance in the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider film, this unique temple is wrapped in giant roots and has large trees growing from its roofs. As soon the sun rises high in the sky, escape the midday heat and return to the hotel for some lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or strolling through the charming town, lined with quaint French colonial buildings.
Day 05: Discover Siem Reap – 2nd Day
Head back to the amazing temple complex and spend the morning visiting Angkor Thom. The ancient Royal Palace comprises several remarkable structures with its main highlight being the mesmerizing Bayon temple. Gaze into the hundreds of smiling faces carved into the stone before visiting the sculptures of the Royal terraces, including the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Finish today’s exploration with a climb to the top of the three-tiered Phimeanakas temple and enjoy some last impressive views of surrounding temples. Head back to town to enjoy a well-deserved lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 06: Discover Siem Reap – 3rd Day
Enjoy a scenic ride to the mountain range of Phnom Kulen, a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Stroll along the River of a Thousand Lingas and discover the countless ancient carvings on the sandstone riverbed. Continue the walk and visit the enormous Reclining Buddha before relaxing with a picnic by a stunning waterfall. Take a dip in its refreshing pool to cool off and head back to Siem Reap.
Day 07: Discover Siem Reap – 4th Day
Hop on a tuk-tuk and zip to the banks of the Tonle Sap, Cambodia’s largest freshwater lake. Embark on a relaxed boat ride and spend the morning exploring floating villages and learning about life on the water.
Day 08: Discover Siem Reap – 5th Day
Delve deeper into the Cambodian culture and experience a homestay with a local family. After a one hour’s drive, swap the motorized vehicle for an ox cart and travel the rest of the way by this traditional means of transport. Upon arrival at a small village, get to know the local community and enjoy some lunch together. In the afternoon, lend a hand and help out with fishing, farming or animal husbandry duties. An incredible and authentic experience that will be both memorable and eye-opening.
Day 09: Siem Reap Departure
